Spanish/Portuguese Research Papers Deadline Extended to 20th October

iConference 2025

The iConference 2025 Spanish/Portuguese Research Paper Track Chairs announced their decision to extend the iConference 2025 submission deadline for the Spanish/Portuguese paper track to 20 October 2024 in line with the deadlines for the following other tracks:

iConference 2025 will take place at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, in the United States. The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering will host the conference in a hybrid format.

The Virtual Academic Program will take place March 11 - 14, 2025 and the Onsite Academic Program in Bloomington, Indiana, will take place March 18 - 22, 2025

The theme "Living in an AI-gorithmic World” seeks to explore the potentially profound implications of living in a world increasingly influenced by algorithmic processes, such as generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models (LLM), data analytics, and related technologies. Authors are also encouraged to submit papers that address relevant topics related to information, technology, and people beyond this year’s theme.

Together, we can begin and shape the discourse about the complexities of living in an algorithmic world, ensuring that these powerful tools serve to enhance the human experience. Submissions for the Spanish / Portuguese and Chinese papers, panels, workshops and the colloquia and symposia will contribute to the discourse and celebrate the 20th anniversary of iConference.
