The University of South Florida School of Information seeks qualified candidates to apply for the William W. & Judith A. Gaunt Endowed Professorship in Library and Information Science. This position, housed out of USF’s Sarasota-Manatee campus, expands the School of Information across One USF and opens up exciting research opportunities in the Sarasota-Manatee geographic region. The position, funded partially from an endowment left by William W. & Judith A. Gaunt, will begin August 2024 at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful candidate will join our faculty in a collegial environment that promotes collaboration amongst faculty within the School and across the university community.


All qualified candidates are invited to apply, but we are particularly interested in a candidate who has a well-developed research agenda that emphasizes community-engaged library and information science research (broadly interpreted).
