The Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Information is hiring two Non-Tenure Track Lecturers, beginning either January or August 2025, in the areas of Database Systems and Management, Data Science, Machine Learning/AI, Object-oriented Programming in Python and Java, and/or Project Management. The School of Information (iSchool) is one of six administrative units within the College of Computing and Information Sciences and oversees academic and curricula development for both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in three undergraduate BS programs, three graduate programs, and two advanced certificate programs. The iSchool provides leadership, administrative, financial, and logistical support to more than 700 undergraduate and graduate students with 30 faculty and 6 staff in Rochester and provides support of the school’s degrees at RIT’s global campuses in Croatia, Kosovo, and UAE. The school demonstrates the university’s commitment to the teacher-scholar model; it is among the university leaders in terms of grant generation and publications and the faculty consists of several teaching award winners and professional service leaders, including ACM president, and ACM SIG chairs. The school is also home to several labs and research centers and plays a particularly large research and delivery role in the university’s Computing for All efforts.
