The Dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the School of Information, responsible to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs for oversight and quality of the School’s academic and research programs. The Dean of UMSI serves as the chief steward of the School’s vision-setting and strategy implementation and is thus key to UMSI realizing that vision.
