The Morgridge College of Education (MCE) at the University of Denver (DU) invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Library and Information Science (LIS) program.
We seek a candidate with knowledge of the library and information science field, committed to engaged scholarship and inclusive pedagogy, and contributing to DU’s mission of public good and advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and advise Master’s LIS students in our online and onsite programs.
The ALA-accredited MLIS program enrolls over 250 students and offers onsite and online program options. The MLIS@Denver online program consists of asynchronous content and synchronous weekly sessions and attracts diverse students from across the country. The onsite program offers concentrations in Research Data Management and Teacher-Librarian and specializations in Academic Libraries, Archives, Community Engagement, Information Technology & Digital Libraries, and Public Libraries.
