The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana (IUB) invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position to begin in August 1, 2023 in the Department of Information and Library Science (ILS). Faculty research areas in ILS include
social informatics, digital humanities, documentation, digital libraries, data curation, information retrieval, music informatics, text mining, computer mediated communication, and more. We are particularly interested in hiring in the area of knowledge infrastructure including information architecture, open access, open science, information retrieval, and media preservation and archives.
We seek candidates prepared to contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion in higher education, especially those with experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations.
Duties will include research, teaching both online and in person, and service.
