Study abroad in Turkey broadens IST student’s global perspective

 

Nicole Cardell, a student Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST), is looking to expand her knowledge about foreign cultures and deepen her understanding of how people in other parts of the world understand America. Pragmatic EA, a company based in the United Kingdom that provides the Pragmatic EA Framework (PEAF), at no cost, to end-user organizations and government bodies all over the world, has donated PEAF materials valued at $1,181,250 to the Center for Enterprise Architecture (EA) at Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology. Ritter’s new book provides roadmap for research methodology

 

Newcomers to the scientific community are often not given practical training in research methodology, says Dr. Frank Ritter, professor of information sciences and technology (IST) at Penn State. Ritter’s new book, “Running Behavioral Studies with Human Participants: A Practical Guide,” is intended to provide a concrete roadmap for the implementation of experiments and controlled observation using human participants.
