Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia) is a fully online university, with
headquarters in Barcelona, created in 1994. The iSchool Faculty has four themathic clusters of
academic activity: data science and IA, multimedia and HCO, computer science and
telecommunications. Our portfolio includes two titles in English: Bachelor in Techniques of
Software Application Development, and doctoral programme in Networked and Information
Technologies. Most of our titles are taught in Catalan and Spanish languages. We have a
significant number of international students in doctoral programme and masters, especially
from America’s Spanish or Portuguese speaking countries and from African countries.
