iSchool Assistant Professor Michelle Rogers, PhD Receives $100,000 Grant from Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

 

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the nation’s leading philanthropy on health and health care, has awarded The iSchool, College of Information Science and Technology at Drexel University’s Michelle Rogers, PhD a 12-month grant through the New Connections program.  Rogers is among a select group of Midcareer Consultants to receive one of the 12-month grants from New Connections. iSchool Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Named New Dean of Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science

 

Simmons College has named Eileen G. Abels, Ph.D., currently Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor at The iSchool, College of Information Science and Technology at Drexel University, as the new dean of the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS). iSchool Student Participates in Foursquare Hackathon

 

Chris Becker, a senior at the School of Information Studies (iSchool), participated in the 2013 Foursquare Hackathon in New York City. Becker, alongside partner Joe Petrellis, a 4th year Drexel University student, challenged over 430 participants to develop interactive applications using Foursquare’s platform in just 12 hours.
