Scholarly journal “Libri” launches student research paper contest

Libri: International Journal of Libraries and Information Studies has issued a call for “Best Student Research Paper of 2019.” Masters and PhD students are invited to submit. The winning paper will be published in the 2019:4 issue, and the author will receive an award of 500.00 €, as well as a complimentary subscription to Libri for 2020.

A publication of De Gruyter, Libri has been in continuous publication since 1950. The 2019 student paper competition supports its goal of delivering the high quality articles from the next generation of library and information science professionals.

Submitted papers should be approximately 5,000 to 7,000 words, in English. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2019. Author instructions and submission information are available on the Libri website.

If the quality of competition warrants, additional papers may be designated as honourable mention, and those authors will receive complementary subscriptions to Libri for 2020. All winners will receive access to e-prints of their winning submission.
