The deadline for iConference 2022 research papers is end-of-day Sept. 13, 2021. Accepted full research papers and short research papers will be published in Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science, and also presented at the iConference, which takes place Feb. 28 through March 4. This year’s conference will again be held entirely online.
Meanwhile, the deadline for submissions to the conference’s non-papers tracks is Oct. 4. The conference organizers have announced a several changes to these tracks that will improve overall quality of the conference experience.
Posters: Instead of presenting posters concurrently in a simultaneous forum as has been done in the past, iConference 2022 posters will be presented in the same manner as papers. Which is to say, there will be a series of dedicated poster sessions in which each author present their work, one at a time. In this way, all interested delegates can observe each presentation at the same time.
Interactive Events: For 2022, the iConference is combining all of its interactive events under one umbrella managed by a single set of chairs. Proposals for workshops and all manner of panels, forums, installations and more should all be submitted to the Interactive Events track. The organizers feel this combined approach can help create synergy and maximize the potential of these events.
Doctoral Colloquium, Early Career Colloquium, and Student Symposium: For 2022, these special sessions will be organized by region, so that their chairs can better target the programs to the needs of attendees.
