    Seeking two individuals for full-time positions with an 11-month academic appointment. Reporting to the Dean of Libraries through the Director of Evans Subject Specialists, these positions join a team of Science and Engineering Librarians in advancing teaching, learning, and access to information resources to students and faculty. The positions will create and deliver a program of outreach services to include library promotion, needs assessment, collection development, reference, and instruction in support of the assigned departments and the general population of students, faculty, and staff. The positions will develop and share subject expertise in assigned areas, working collaboratively with AskUs Services, Learning and Outreach, Collection Development Operations and Acquisitions Services, Systematic Reviews, the library open access team, Data Management, Digital Services and Scholarly Communication, and any other library faculty and staff as needed. Using in-depth knowledge of the Libraries' subject collections and constituents' needs, the positions will develop the collection in assigned areas accordingly.

    Associate Faculty in Informatics, Data Mining and Data Analytics: The Department of Human-Centered Computing, School of Informatics and Computing, seeks Associate Faculty to teach one or more sections of the INFO-I 223 Data Fluency or INFO-I 421 Applications of Data Mining courses. These undergraduate courses are offered in the fall and spring semesters. Depending on the enrollment, we may also offer the courses during summer sessions.     GIS Analyst: The Polis Center at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking candidates for a GIS Analyst position. Duties include transforming GIS data by using software tools and other data to better support project objectives; assisting in updating and maintaining complex GIS datasets; communicating regularly with internal and external project partners to exchange data, resolve questions and share information; conducting complex data analysis using ArcGIS and other software tools for a variety of research projects; creating charts, graphs, maps and/or reports of the data analysis results; and implementing quality control procedures for all interim and deliverable products.
