    Assistant Professor (requisition #FE02207): The iSchool at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level with an anticipated start date of Aug. 16, 2020. Teaching responsibilities for this nine-month appointment include topics primarily in information technology as related to the information science environment. This could include, but is not limited to, databases, user design/user experience, and web development. While not required for this position, experience with health information/health librarianship is preferred. Candidates are expected to hold an earned Ph.D. or be in ABD status in library science, information science, or a related field at the time of the interview. The Ph.D. is required by Aug. 16, 2020, for the successful candidate to hold the rank of assistant professor and begin the probationary period toward tenure.
