    Pratt Institute invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor at the School of Information and Director of the Spatial Analysis and Visualization Initiative (SAVI).

    The School of Information, located at Pratt Manhattan Center, offers Masters programs in Data Analytics and Visualization, Information and Library Science, Information Experience Design and Museums and Digital Culture. The Spatial Analysis and Visualization Initiative (SAVI Center) at Pratt Institute is a mapping and analytics research hub that untangles the complexity of data in the human context through research and design. Its many projects focus on supporting cultural arts organizations, non-profits, and government agencies in conducting data analysis and mapping, creating interactive graphics illustrating key indicators; and conducting much needed multi-day GIS training workshops for various departments in Pratt and organizations outside of Pratt.
