The iSchool at the University of North Texas has announced the following openings:
Assistant/Associate Professor: Applications are invited for Assistant/Associate Professor (tenure track) positions with a research and teaching focus in Information and Library Science. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Social Justice, and Business Analytics. Positions will begin in Fall 2022. This is a nine month, full-time, tenure-track position. The successful candidate will be expected to show evidence of or develop a record of scholarly research necessary to earn tenure. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to design and deliver courses in a variety of formats, including online and hybrid modalities, and is expected to teach core courses and specialized courses. The candidate is also expected to coordinate students’ practicum experiences, work closely with doctoral students and serve on dissertation committees, and develop close relationships with practitioners and educators in related fields. Clinical Assistant Professor: Fort this non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor position, the school seeks candidates with interests in a wide range of topics. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Social Justice, and Business Analytics. Candidates are expected to successfully teach both undergraduate and graduate courses and to design and deliver courses in various formats, including online and hybrid modalities.
