Regional Collaborations, Partnerships and Issues

  • iConference 2020 will take place in March 23 – March 26 in Borås, Sweden. The conference theme is Sustainable Digital Communities. iConference 2020 is co-hosted by the University of Borås: Swedish School of Library and Information Science, and Oslo Metropolitan University: Department of Archivistics, Library and Information Science. 
  • European iSchools have issued a Staff exchange agreement, which will allow iSchool faculty and staff to visit other iSchools in order to foster the exchange of research and teaching ideas, processes and strategies. Learn more
  • iConference 2018 took place March 25-28 in Sheffield UK. It is the second iConference to be held in Europe (the first was iConference 2014 in Berlin). Visit the conference website for details.
  • Recent events in Turkey have compelled the iSchools organization to issue a statement on academic freedom. Learn more
