This special track for 2023 is an innovative development for iConference. The theme for this track is “Achievements & Perspectives: The next century for the development of Library, Information, and Archival Sciences in China”. This track offers an excellent opportunity for scholars, researchers, and professionals worldwide to understand and exchange views about the past, present, and future of Library, Information, and Archival Sciences in China.
Participants from all over the world, knowledgeable in the Chinese language, are welcome to submit. Submissions to this track should be in the Chinese language. An English version of the title, abstract, and keywords of the paper is required.
A selection of the accepted papers will be recommended to CSSCI indexed journals in the information field, which publish papers in the Chinese language.
Submissions to this track should be full papers presenting new and original research results from empirical investigations and experiments, or from theory and model development. The submitted papers must break new ground and provide substantial support for the results and conclusions. Papers presenting a new system design or implications for design are also encouraged.
All accepted papers will be presented virtually during iConference 2023 on the SCOOCS platform; presentation instruction will be provided with acceptance notifications.
Authors may publish their accepted paper as a pre-print or working paper in open repositories. Accepted papers will be published in the IDEALS open repository. Authors are also allowed to deposit their work into their school's institutional repository if they so choose.
Papers must adhere to the guidelines and templates below. Submissions that do not conform to the guidelines and templates are subject to rejection by the chairs.
Papers must be original work, not previously published. The standard length of the article is up to 15,000 words (excluding references). Author-identifying information must be removed from first submissions to facilitate double-blind review. Author information will be included with the final version of accepted papers.

Upon paper acceptance, authors agree that if their paper is accepted, at least one author has to register during the Early Bird registration period and present their work at iConference 2023.
