iSchools Promotional Video Contest

UPDATE: The submission deadline has been extended through January, with entries due by 11:59 PM [SST (Samoa Standard Time) UTC/GMT -11 hours] on January 29, 2016.

Contest entries received during this extended period will only be eligible for the $1,000 iConference travel support award, and are not eligible for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes.

Why are you attending an iSchool? Tell the world your iSchool story and what interests you about the information field, and you could win a cash prize and a trip to the 2016 iConference in Philadelphia!

Information Schools (iSchools) educate people to shape the future.
Submit a video that stimulates interest in our field of information and promotes studying at an iSchool.
Your submitted video should speak to information as a field of study or to iSchools as exciting, new programs that educate undergraduate and/or graduate students to solve the information problems of the 21st century.
The goal of the video is to drive interest to iSchools in general, rather than explain all the various facets of the information field. Winning videos will be debuted at the 2016 iConference, and used on the iSchools Organization website and through other channels to promote the organization and the mission of Information Schools.
The contest has been extended until Friday, January 29th, with entries due by 11:59 PM SST (Samoa Standard Time) UTC/GMT -11 hours on that date. Note that contest entries received during this extended period will only be eligible for the $1000 iConference travel support award, and are not eligible for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes.

How to Enter

Submit your video and information on our online entry form.
A panel of deans from the iSchools will judge the videos and award prizes. All judges decisions are final. Judges will meet in December, and decisions will be released by early January, 2016.
