iConference Call for Participation


iConference 2013 is an excellent venue to share your work and collaborate with others who share your passion and research interests. In response to requests for more varied opportunities to participate, we are offering several new participation opportunities this year. Specifically, in addition to the usual Papers of 8-10 pages, we are also seeking Notes of up to 4 pages that reflect early and partial results. Also, our new Research Paper Development Roundtable provides increased opportunities for junior faculty. Read more


Sydney Schaef: TEP Alumna Establishes School in Tanzania


When Sydney Schaef (’10, M.Ed.;Teacher Education Program (TEP)/Urban Teaching) was an international exchange student at the University of Dar es Salaam in East Africa in 2005, she joined local community leaders who were working to develop a sustainable education model that would serve as an alternative to the traditional orphanage institution.
